For coaches in any sport

Programming made easy.

Drag blocks to any day, copy and paste whole weeks and bring in templates. Press Deliver, and each athlete gets it on their phone, with weights from their own maxes.

No sign-up. Sample athletes are already loaded.

We set it up with you.

A live picture of the coach’s program calendar in Coach Reps, at computer size, and an athlete’s phone. The coach brings in a saved template called Game Week: its preview snaps to Monday and five blocks land on the first week of November. The coach drags Thursday’s Lifting block to Friday, selects the week, copies it from the right-click menu and pastes it on the next Monday, where it lands with the same spacing. The coach opens Monday’s Lifting, searches the exercise library for squat and adds Front Squat, enters 3 sets of 5 and turns on Progressive Overload, which shows 70, 80 and 90% of Tyler’s Front Squat max as 165, 190 and 215 pounds, then changes the third set to 85%, which becomes 200 pounds. The coach closes the panel and presses Deliver. Tyler’s phone comes forward in front of the calendar: he opens Lifting and checks off his four Back Squat sets at 195, 210, 220 and 235 pounds while his progress fills to 40%, then scrolls to Front Squat and plays its exercise video, in which a drawn lifter does a front squat. The phone moves back behind the calendar.

Made for the way coaches work

  • Any sport. You name the blocks, the exercises and the loads.

  • Athletes train in the iPhone app or in any web browser.

  • Priced by your coaching staff, with unlimited athletes.

Build it on a calendar. Reuse what works.

Drag blocks to any day, copy and paste whole weeks, bring in templates and rename the categories for your sport. You never have to type the same week twice.

  • Drag blocks to any day

Your program is a calendar of blocks, like Prep, Drills and Lifting, each holding its exercises. Drag a block to a new day, or box-select a stretch and move it all at once.

    • Add a block to any day with its plus button
    • Add exercises from your library, or make one on the spot
    • Undo and redo as you go
The program calendar: a Drills block is dragged from day 3 to day 6. Then a box is drawn around three blocks, and they move down a week together.
  • Copy and paste whole weeks

Copy one block or a whole stretch, then paste it weeks later. The spacing between days comes with it, and so does every exercise, set and load.

    • Right-click, or use the keyboard shortcuts
    • Supersets and phase names come along
    • If a day already has that block, combine or replace it
Four blocks on days 2, 3 and 5 are copied and pasted on day 16. They land on days 16, 17 and 19, with the same spacing.
  • Bring in a template

Save a day, a block or a whole stretch as a template your whole staff can use. Pick one, see where it lands, then place it on any date.

    • Search your templates by name
    • Preview every day before you place it
    • Build new templates from scratch, too
Five blocks across four days are saved as a template called Game Week. Then the template’s outline slides along the calendar and is placed on days 17 to 20.
  • Rename the categories for your sport

Prep, Drills, Lifting and Other are only the default categories. Rename and recolor them, so Drills can be Throwing or Speed, and add more of your own.

    • The head coach sets them for the whole staff
    • Up to six categories, and we can turn on two more
    • Name a stretch of blocks as a phase, like Triphasic
In Programming Categories, Drills is renamed Speed and turned cyan. Then on the calendar, Speed is in the day’s add menu, and cyan Speed blocks are added.

Write every set your way

Prescribe by percent of max, give each set its own percentage, pair exercises into supersets and use your own loads. It all happens in the exercise panel beside your calendar.

Percent of max

Prescribe a percentage once, and each athlete sees a weight from their own max.

Bench Press at 85% of max. Tyler B. gets 195 pounds, Maya O. 100 and Andre C. 235, each from their own max.

Per-set percentages

Give every set its own percentage and rep count.

A Back Squat set by set for one athlete: 70% for 5 at 195 pounds, 75% for 5 at 210, 80% for 3 at 220 and 85% for 3 at 235.

Supersets

Group exercises into a superset, and athletes see A1 and A2.

Bench Press and Barbell Row are selected and grouped. They become A1 and A2 in Superset A.

Your own loads

Use percent of max or pounds, or add your own loads, like plyo ball colors.

A new dropdown load called Plyo Balls gets four colors. Then Rocker Drill uses it, with Red picked for a set.

Deliver it. See what they lifted.

Your athletes see nothing until you press Deliver. Then the session is on their phone, and every set they log comes back to you.

Easy for the athlete

Made for athletes who would rather train than tap a phone.

  • Today’s session, with their own weights
  • Check off each set, or change the weight or reps
  • The exercise video, right under the sets
  • Beat a max, and the new max is saved
  • Keeps logging with no signal on iPhone
Tyler’s phone shows today’s Lifting block: Back Squat, 5 sets of 3 at 230 pounds, with all five sets checked off. He did 235 on set 4 and 2 reps on set 5.

Clear for the coach

See what you wrote next to what they did.

  • Edits stay a draft until you press Deliver
  • Discard your draft edits to the days ahead
  • Prescribed next to logged, set by set
  • Above the plan in green by default, below it in amber
  • Message your athletes from the web or your iPhone
The coach’s review of Tyler’s Monday session. Each set shows what was prescribed next to what he logged. Set 4 is above the plan in green, and set 5 is below it in amber.

Try it with sample athletes

A guided demo walks you through it: add an athlete, write a session, deliver it and watch it land on their phone. When you finish, the whole app is yours to try.

No sign-up, and nothing you do is saved.

The demo needs a computer. Open coachreps.com/demo there, or book a demo and we’ll walk you through it.

The coach’s program calendar in Coach Reps, with two weeks programmed and ready to deliver, and the guided demo’s tip: Click Deliver to Athletes. That is the moment it reaches their phone.

Everything else, in one place

Messages, your own colors and the rest of Coach Reps, for coaches and athletes.

Messages

Message the athletes you coach one to one, with photos, video and voice memos.

A chat between a coach and Marcus W. He sends a side view video from last night’s game and a voice memo, and the coach answers with what to work on.

Your colors

Pick one of 8 themes or mix your own, and your athletes see your colors too.

A small Coach Reps screen repaints in each theme: Coach Reps, Midnight Gold, Deep Ocean, Forest and Ember.

Questions people ask

Does it work for my sport?

Yes. You make your own exercises, groups and load types. The head coach can rename the categories too, so Drills can become Throwing or Speed. Nothing is tied to one sport.

Do my athletes need an iPhone?

No. They can use the iPhone app, or any web browser on Android or a computer.

How much does it cost?

It’s based on how many coaches you have, not how many athletes, and every facility gets the whole product with unlimited athletes. Book a demo and we’ll send you a quote. See How Pricing Works.

Can I try it first?

Yes, on a computer. The interactive demo has sample athletes loaded and needs no sign-up.

Can I reuse a week or a phase?

Yes. Copy and paste it onto new dates, and the spacing between days comes with it. Or save it as a template your whole staff can use.

How do my athletes get in?

You invite them by email, or share a group link that works for 7 days. The link can ask for their maxes when they sign up.

What if an athlete has no max on file?

They see a prompt to enter it, and you can add it yourself under Athlete Metrics on the Athletes page. Once it’s in, their weights show up.

Does it work in kilograms?

Maxes are in pounds, and percent of max rounds up to the next 5 lbs. A load you add can show its own unit, kg included.

Is there an app for coaches?

Coaches build programs in a web browser on a computer. The iPhone app lets coaches message athletes on the go.

What if there’s no signal in the gym?

The iPhone app keeps today’s session on the phone, and logged sets send when signal comes back.

Do you help us set it up?

Yes. Every facility is set up by hand, and we get you going.
